HOF Team of the Year 2020

House of Fisher has been awarded SME Business of the Year at the 2020 ASAP Serviced Apartment Industry Awards, held on Monday 30th November. This was particularly impressive as there were a record number of award submissions – from 17 different countries!

Record Breakers!

House of Fisher is the first company to win the prestigious ASAP Serviced Apartment Industry award for SME Business of the Year, for a second time, having previously won in 2017! A truly remarkable achievement, cementing our position as market leaders of serviced apartment providers in the Thames Valley!

The SME Business of the Year Award recognises the outstanding achievements, initiative, boldness, and imagination in a business, as well as sound management practices and outstanding customer satisfaction over the past 12 months. The company, which must have under 50 employees must demonstrate sustainable growth, and a degree of commercial success that is exceptional for the size of the business.

  • Evidence of excellent customer satisfaction levels
  • Evidence of the development and sustainable growth of the business
  • Evidence of strong financial performance and commercial success

What the judges said about our submission

‘A solid and robust performance showing impressive returns and ambitious aspirations. A fantastic entry showing the full potential of the company, leadership qualities and most importantly results. Commitment to their staff, customers & development of their product. Focus on staff retention and development is commendable. Results show solid procedures and hard work put into the company from all sides of the business.’

2020 Transformed Into A Digital Award Ceremony

For the first time in its history, the ASAP Awards were held digitally, reflecting the challenges we have faced in 2020. Originally planned for the summer, the usual Gala dinner was initially postponed and then changed to a purely digital ceremony. This did not dampen spirits however, with some still wearing tuxedos or dresses to mark the occasion.

Proud Of The Entire #HOFFamily

SME Business of the year is an award for the entire House of Fisher team, making it incredibly meaningful. Our Managing Director was elated having won stating, “We did it again! This is a tough award, but a fantastic win for the entire #HOFteam. We set out clear objectives about strengthening our position as the market leader in the Thames Valley, with our staff at the heart of the business and it worked. “

James Foice, ASAP CEO commented to this year’s winners, “my congratulations go to the winners, my thanks to all the entrants, and my gratitude to the entire judging panel for their expertise and support.”

What Next?

2020 has been a challenging year for the business and leisure travel sector. This award is a fine conclusion, and a reflection of the hard work the #HOFfamily has put in throughout the year, to the benefit of our guests. We welcome 2021 and hopefully a more positive outlook for our sector.
