Hof Living is an alternative, refreshing way to rent. We offer fully flexible lease terms starting from just one month, without the need to commit further. The concept has been launched to meet the changing world we find ourselves in. Flexibility, cost, reassurance, immediacy are all suddenly really important key words in this new world. So House of Fisher has designed a rental product that carries all these benefits!

Unlike standard rentals, with minimum 6 month terms, hof Living apartments are flexible and fully inclusive. There are no agent fees, credit checks, large upfront deposits, council tax, gas, electric, water or service charges. The hof Living apartments prices are inclusive of utility bills, superfast WiFi and SKY TV (including sports). Hof Living compliments our original House of Fisher serviced apartments product, by giving us the ability to offer accommodation to both the short and long term market.

FAQ – Hof Living

Who is House of Fisher?

House of Fisher is the owner-operator of serviced apartments across the Thames Valley. Our parent company is the well-known construction company T A Fisher, who has been in business for 125 years.

What is the difference between House of Fisher and hof Living?

Hof Living is our new long-let product, giving you a discounted rental from 30 nights+ with limited services compared to a standard serviced apartment.

Is there a minimum and maximum length of contract?

The hof Living apartments are let at a minimum of 30 nights, but for as long as you want. We do ask you to sign a short contract for the agreed rental period and ask for 2 weeks’ notice on any amendments.

How much is the fees and deposit?

We charge no fees at all and our rental is all-inclusive of all costs, however there is a small deposit of £500 held against any damages to the apartment, furniture or breaking our Terms & Conditions, please see our full Terms & Conditions here.

What is included in the rental?

A fully furnished apartment, inclusive of all utilities, Sky TV package and phone/internet. As well as House of Fisher’s property management which includes maintenance and regular Health & Safety checks. Note content and liability insurance is not included.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as bank transfer and/or invoices to a company account (subject to credit terms & approval).

Who can rent at hof Living?

We welcome all guests! We just ask for a small deposit and a full month rent up front.

Is the apartment furnished? If so, what is included?

Yes, our apartments are fully equipped and furnished. This includes all furniture, bedding, TV and all kitchen equipment, as seen or when viewed.

How do I make a reservation?

What is the move-in process?

Our team will contact you with the final details in terms of keys and move-in time. You will be required to finalise any outstanding payments, deposit and paperwork before you are given access to the apartment.

Can I decorate / change the apartment?

We have put a lot of effort into the standards of the apartments so therefore we won’t allow any amendments, the apartments are let as seen/viewed.

Do you accept pets?

We accept pets at six of our locations, being 100 Kings Road (Reading)City Wall House (Reading)Beneficial House (Bracknell)Central House (Camberley)Central Gate (Newbury) and Athena Court (Maidenhead). You can review our pet policy for further information.

Are there any parking available on site?

Do you have a non-smoking policy?

Yes, all of our apartments and properties are non-smoking.

Do you offer a cleaning service?

Yes, we offer a professional cleaning service at a charge. Please contact our Guest Services team to book on guestservices@houseoffisher.com

What if I need further assistance?

Our Guest Services team is available for further assistance, if not in person then on the phone 24hrs. For general maintenance purposes we do require access to all apartments on a regular basis for routine maintenance visit and Health & Safety checks.
