On Thursday 15th October, House of Fisher celebrated its 23rd birthday!
Founded in 1997 by John Fisher with a modest offering of just two serviced apartments and with offices based above a garage, fast-forward 23 years and House of Fisher is established as the leading owner-operator in the Thames Valley, operating a portfolio of over 200 serviced apartments with a headquarters office based in Theale.
Whilst current Covid restrictions prevented any large internal gatherings, we might have missed the celebrations right now, but will be ready to celebrate as soon as we can and raise a glass to 23 years of successful business trading.

House of Fisher has won many awards over its 23 year history, from global sector wins such as ‘ASAP SME Business of the Year’ through to being recognised through local awards within the Thames Valley.

Our outstanding customer service is something that has generated great pride over the 23 years. The implementation of 24/7, 365 days a year Guest Service support some years ago is highly admired. It leads to an abundance of happy guests and strong customer reviews, as the team regularly goes ‘over and above’ to deliver the ultimate customer experience.
The Future Ahead
2020 has presented many challenges within our sector, however, we have operated throughout, even providing accommodation to NHS and Key Workers during the lockdown at highly discounted rates to support them.
We continue to adapt our offering to meet the requirements of guests, from touch-free check-ins to quarantine isolation apartments.
We have exciting plans ahead for the future, including a new 39-suite Aparthotel in central Farnborough and we recently launched a co-working area at our flagship 100 Kings Road aparthotel in Reading.
