With the new GDPR legislation being implemented on 25th May 2018, House of Fisher are pleased to confirm we are compliant and ready.
Proactive approach to safety and compliance
As a company compliance, both the physical safety (as demonstrated by the proactive steps to ensure the safety and security of our guests article from August 2017) and data security of our guests is of paramount importance to us and our values. Unlike many unregulated providers within the sector, we adhere to a stringent code of conduct internally and externally, again achieving The ASAP’s quality accreditation for the 4th consecutive year.
Staff training to ensure complete compliance
House of Fisher have reviewed all of our policies and processes, implementing changes where required to ensure compliance is met before the deadline. Several meetings and actions involving all heads of departments have ensured complete adherence throughout our organisation. This is further demonstrated by the ongoing training of all House of Fisher staff, ensuring our customers data and rights are fully met.
System changes and updated policies
As a transparent organisation we have updated our policies and created a new section within the main navigation on our website, clearly detailing our Cookie Policy, GDPR Statement, Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions. We have also reached out to individual private guests, allowing them to opt in for future mailings after 25th May.
As a leading company at the forefront of the Serviced Apartment industry you can rest assured that your data will be securely stored and as a company both our systems and our entire team we will be prepared and fully compliant come the GDPR legislation introduction on 25th May 2018.
