House of Fisher, a leading provider of serviced apartments, is excited to announce a significant upgrade to its in-room entertainment offering. As part of our ongoing commitment to enhance the guest experience, we are installing 55″ smart TVs in the living rooms of all our serviced apartments.

This latest enhancement is part of House of Fisher’s continued investment in guest comfort and satisfaction. The new 55″ smart TVs will provide guests with a superior viewing experience, featuring vibrant picture quality, enhanced sound, and access to a wide range of digital content and streaming services. Whether guests are staying for business or leisure, they can now enjoy their favourite shows, films, and online content from the comfort of the apartment living rooms, offering a true ‘home from home’ experience.

Guests’ viewing habits have changed significantly over recent years, with streaming service subscriptions becoming the new norm, especially for seasoned travellers. With an abundance of streaming services now available, we needed to keep up with this trend and have replaced our historic Sky TV packages with these smart, modern options.

A Commitment to Guest Experience

Installing these high-quality smart TVs across all House of Fisher serviced apartments reflects our commitment to continuously improve and innovate. With easy access to popular streaming platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube and many more, guests can personalise their viewing experience just as they would at home by simply logging in and continuing to binge their favourite series or film genre. They will also have Freeview, giving access to over 100 channels, all free of charge, without a subscription.

With nearly 200 serviced apartments, coordinating this upgrade is no simple task! The rollout begins 9th and 10th September at our City Wall House, Reading aparthotel and the enhancements will subsequently be implemented across our other locations before November 1st.

With a dedicated House of Fisher ‘Green Team’, sustainability is always considered during projects and decisions. This is no exception with existing televisions and brackets all being reused, sold or recycled.
