Southwood Country Park covers 57 hectares of open space. The eastern side spans 27 hectares of natural land, including wetlands and the course of the Cove Brook. It also includes a café, a field centre, a large playground, and car park.
The western side of the park covers around 30 hectares and offers informal paths as well as a 2.4-kilometre formal circular route, linking the Kennels Lane car park with the café / field centre and a path to Southwood Woodland. Both are great options for hikes and cycling.
