House of Fisher are delighted to return to our HQ in Theale, outside Reading. The team have been welcomed back and are enjoying the brand new fit out, fixtures and fittings that make this a truly special and motivational environment to work and continue to provide outstanding service to our customers in.
Previously based on floor one of Theale Court, we decided to relocate to floor two to share an office area with our parent company, property developer T A Fisher. Much planning went into this project, which involved a major extension, expanding the office space to replace the roof terrace and relocating this to the third floor.
The offices are now fitted with sensors and LED lights, along with a climate system all operated in a sustainable way, fitting in with our overall green journey.
Our new kitchen and lunch area is already proving popular amongst the team. Our board room has been kitted out with a projector screen and whiteboards, ready for brainstorming and presenting during internal and external meetings.
The new roof terrace at Theale Court is an exciting prospect and one the #HOFfamily will be enjoying for the remainder of this summer, having become accustomed to the 100 Kings Road roof terrace during breaks and lunchtimes. The roof terrace is something that will certainly be optimised with group lunches and various events already being planned for the months ahead.
Relocating to temporarily work from our flagship 100 Kings Road aparthotel during the renovation period has been a good experience for the Sales and Reservations teams. Working so closely with our brilliant Guest Services team and interacting daily in person with our guests has proved extremely beneficial. Whilst we will miss some of these elements, our brand new office space (which is considerably larger!) and equipment is a wonderful and exciting prospect, along with being with our parent company T A Fisher. We look forward to the next chapter at House of Fisher in our new home.
