House of Fisher were delighted to be recognised as an ECO leader and industry example by receiving an upgraded ECOSmart accreditation from Greengage, going from an ECOSmart Certified accredited to ECOSmart Plus.
What is ECOSmart?
ECOSmart is Greenage’s accreditation tool that enables businesses to verify their operations against a strict set of criteria in five key areas:
- Energy and water conservation
- Waste management and recycling
- Rooms and facilities
- Food and beverage
- Corporate and Social responsibility
What does the ECOSmart upgrade mean?
The upgrade to an ECOsmart Certified Plus serviced apartment provider means House of Fisher has taken extensive measures to fully embrace environmental sustainability. These measures include reviewing the waste we generate, our supply chain, energy supply and usage and then creating plans to reduce and improve. ECOsmart Certified Plus members also actively engage customers on their sustainability journey and educate guests on how they can make environmental decisions whilst staying at our properties.
What does the ECOSmart Plus upgrade mean to House of Fisher?
We are extremely proud and excited to have achieved this upgraded accreditation. It is a testament to all of the hard work and positive changes the #HOFfamily has put into our sustainability journey and this is just the beginning!
Working in partnership with Greengage, who are such a driven organisation for positive change, is a pleasure and we closely align with their vision and sustainability values.
House of Fisher Receives Sustainable Property Progress Award
We have won our first sustainability award via our accreditation provider Greengage; Sustainable Property Progress Award.
It was an honour to receive this award and a reflection of the dedication and focus the team has put into becoming a greener company. Unfortunately, we could not attend the award ceremony, however the award was sent and received by Managing Director Trine Oestergaard-Stafford and Operations Manager Cristina Lopez. This is fitting as Cristina was recently appointed as our Green Champion, spearheading our continuous journey of sustainability improvements.
