The #HOFfamily had a wonderful time attending the fantastic Rabble Theatre’s production of Henry I which was performed at the historic Abbey Ruins in Reading, just a stone’s throw away from our flagship 100 Kings Road aparthotel!
The talented actors took to the stage and put on the performance of a lifetime, and our HOF team felt incredibly lucky to have been there to witness it.
There was a familiar face on the stage who many of you may know; Amy Conachan, the talented and well known actress who has appeared in hit TV shows such as Channel 4’s Hollyoaks, BBC’s The Capture, and ITV’s Karen Pirie.
Amy, who graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, swapped TV soaps for theatre. She has appeared in a handful of theatre productions including Oliver Twist, Orphans, Wendy Hoose, Skeleton Wumman, and of course the outstanding Henry I.
Amy has spoken openly about her rare spiral spinal condition and as a result, she uses a wheelchair.
We were thrilled when Amy became one of our 100 Kings Road guests whilst appearing as Adela, Countess of Blois. She put on an outstanding performance and we are so pleased that we could accommodate Amy whilst she shone on stage at the iconic Abbey Ruins.
