With Easter not so far away, there are plenty of local opportunities and activities perfect to create a magical, egg-citing Easter holiday! Whether that’s popular local family attractions or a nice relaxed evening meal with family and friends, the Thames Valley area can create an egg-stra special Easter for all.
This year, Easter is slightly later, giving us a great opportunity for warmer weather. Whatever the weather, during your stay in any of our six locations, there is always plenty to do!

Reading

Or go to LegoLand to experience an egg-straordinary day and hop into a day filled with fun activities. Newbury
Newbury has plenty to offer this Easter, perfect for all age ranges, whether that’s the Easter Holiday Paddling or the Easter Holiday Climbing. Newbury is an idyllic market town in the heart of rural Berkshire, with countryside boasting spectacular nature walks. We have a fine selection of walks near Newbury that the House of Fisher team recommends, which you can follow with a bite to eat.

Basingstoke
In Basingstoke this Easter, there is plenty to do, whether you’re planning a family day out or some relaxed time with friends and family. Paultons Park is hosting an Easter special, from 5th to 21st April, perfect for the younger members of the family. Alternatively, just a 40-minute drive away, Manor Farm Country Park offers a fantastic day out for all ages, with plenty to see and do on a working farm. Bracknell
If it’s beautiful weather and outside time you and your family are looking for this Easter then look no further than Bracknell. Bracknell has many opportunities to offer! One of our favourites is Go Ape, located within Swinley Forest. Go Ape offers a wild tree-top adventure as well as forest segways and axe throwing. Farnborough
This Easter holiday, Farnborough and the surrounding area are an attractive proposition! Just a 40-minute drive away, Queen Elizabeth Country Park is a beautiful country park boasting lots of green space, as well as parks for children, as well as walks and mountain biking routes. If you are looking for something slightly more local then there are plenty of stunning walks in Farnborough on offer followed by places to eat.
Camberley
This Easter, Camberley is an excellent option for a stay with the family. Local activities to amuse the children include Kids Camp at the Square, Camberley. Free activities include arts and crafts, face painting, and cookie decorating. Another free activity for all ages is the many walks around Camberley, of which we have selected our favourites.
