On Saturday 11th June, House of Fisher and T A Fisher held a joint Summer Party. The weather was fitting for the occasion and the sun was enjoyed by guests, making shorts and dresses the correct attire for a warm summer afternoon!
The summer party was extremely well attended by staff from both companies, many accompanied by their partners, families and pets! Also invited were key strategic partners and consultants to both organisations, with a total attendance of approximately 170 guests.
Our Chairman, John Fisher, personally welcomed all guests and gave a memorable speech of thanks to the team.
No summer party is complete without delicious food. Guests were spoiled with a BBQ, hog roast and a variety of salads from events company Harlequin Marquee Hire, served inside their highly impressive marquee which provided protection from the sunshine as drinks were enjoyed.
The main music was led by Hugh Turner & band, who will also be performing at this year’s Henley festival providing a relaxing jazz vibe. To support, guests were also treated to a performance from the talented James Brawn of Shiplake College, who covered well known artists such as Elton John and Ed Sheeran. The musical order of play for the day was arranged by Fiona Fisher, Chair of Woodley festival of Music and Art who provide a supportive platform for young musicians to perform.
The afternoon was a great success re-connecting with each other after such a long time, having lots of fun and banter, but also to celebrate our company achievements and to say thank you to staff and suppliers.
