On 30th September the House of Fisher team participated in the Macmillan Coffee Morning to raise money for this worthwhile cause. The event was hosted at our corporate head office in Theale alongside other companies like Tecan and T A Fisher, and at 100 Kings Road, many of the team got into the spirit (and inspired by The Great British Bake Off) by making homemade cakes.
The tasty creations included Ani’s chocolate, cream with chocolate sprinkles and banana cake, Monica’s marble cake, Cristina’s “healthy” muffins, Sandra’s peanut butter chocolate chip cheesecake and lots of other fantastic cakes.
The teams, joined by our corporate guests took time out for a short break and enjoyed a coffee, cake and catch up. Everyone indulged throughout the day and with such a fine selection of cakes available it meant many came back for a seconds, thirds, fourths…!
House of Fisher were pleased to donate £250.00 for Macmillan Cancer Support and we hope 2016 is another record year, beating 2015’s fantastic total of £25 million.
