Since October 2017, members of the House of Fisher management team have undertaken a leadership training programme, recently completing the final two modules – Focus on Relationships and Focus on Effectiveness.
At House of Fisher, we strive to ensure staff develop to their full potential and provide a variety of training programmes in order to motivate and challenge our staff but also to give them new tools and skill-set in order for us to increase customer relations and our overall performance. It is important to us that our staff get access to a range of opportunities that allow them to develop their skill-set and learn new, effective ways to become a truly outstanding manager of their teams. We are grateful for ‘Apex Training and Development’, who have enabled this further advancement and delivered a tailored four module leadership training programme.
To complete the training our employees engaged in a mixture of onsite day training, practical workshops, online actions plans and written assessments. Following the completion of the course, House of Fisher received the results for the last two modules, with each successful completion being awarded by a City & Guilds Accreditation (Pass, Merit or Distinction).
The Results
House of Fisher are thrilled with the results from the final stage of this programme, showing how hard our staff have worked to achieve success whilst at the same time implemented so many great techniques. The results for the last two modules for 10 participants were our best yet:

- 7x Merits
This meant that in total the amazing #HOFfamily achieved:

- 15x Merits
- 1x Pass

It is in our best interest that they continue to develop and implement their learnings within the company to achieve success and more proud moments like these.
The company has already seen the benefits from the course and implementation of great ideas and efficiencies. We are now in a better position to challenge the status quo and to work on continuously improving standards, relationships, procedures etc, to the benefit of the overall business, but more so our customers.
