House of Fisher was delighted to host our summer party on Friday, 2nd July 2021. The theme was summer holidays and the venue was the roof terrace at our flagship 100 Kings Road, Reading. The sun shone down on the terrace, helping everyone improve their tans and get their daily Vitamin D intake!
By planning the event outside and having fewer than 30 people attend, we managed to carry out the event in line with the government COVID guidelines.
Games Galore
It ain’t a summer party unless you have a good selection of games! You could have mistaken the sun terrace for a carnival Olympics with ring throwing, giant jenga, cornhole and hula hooping games ongoing through the day! Reservations and Revenue Team Leader Edd Ransom-Coventry set the records on ‘cornhole’, somehow landing all four bags through the hole in a play-off victory!
Food aplenty!
House of Fisher laid on a feast for the team! Sandwiches, wraps and crisps, as well as healthier options such as vegetable platters with dips and fresh watermelon, proved highly popular during the party. The team enjoyed plenty of refreshments (mostly alcoholic!) throughout, with the main event being the personalised cake! A fine reflection of the incredible efforts from the #HOFfamily, the cake was decorated with ‘The Fantastic HOF Team’ on the top, with a smiling sun and flowers! It was a shame to cut into but with a salivating team waiting, MD Trine Oestergaard did the honours and shared out generous portions!
Dance the night away!
The #HOFfamily loves a boogie! A wide range of summer tunes (mainly the Love Island playlist!!) played through old skool Bose speakers, ensuring high quality sounds were matched by… lower quality dance moves!
Exciting Summer Ahead
The summer party was a brilliant occasion for the #HOFfamily and significant landmark as we were allowed to meet outside and celebrate following the many COVID restrictions. It’s important for us to maintain our fantastic company culture and to be able to say a BIG thank you for everyone’s hard work.
As our Aparthotels and Serviced Apartments prove increasingly popular as a UK staycation option and business travel opens up further, we are looking forward to the second half of 2021 ahead and providing our guests with the unbeatable service and experience that ensures they come back to House of Fisher every time.
