During February the House of Fisher Team, Suppliers, Agents and our Guests enjoyed our #HOFlovesyou campaign, which was fun but with a serious message. With 14th February being Valentine’s Day we wanted to share the love, but without restricting it to just one day…so we decided to extend the theme throughout the entire month of February!

We partnered with The British Heart Foundation @TheBHF to promote their ‘Fight for every heartbeat’ campaign, promoting a healthy lifestyle for all. We strongly believe in the increased energy and positivity this can achieve and so we focused on three key areas to promote it:

Fresh fruit was provided to House of Fisher guests

1) Fresh Fruit for our wonderful Guests

Throughout February we gave all of our guests staying in our serviced apartments and aparthotels in Reading, Newbury, Bracknell, Maidenhead, Basingstoke, Camberley and Farnborough complimentary fruit on arrival, encouraging healthy eating and snacking as part of our #HOFlovesyou campaign.

40 bags of donations collected

2) Valentine’s Day collection for The British Heart Foundation

On 14th February House of Fisher arranged a large collection of clothing, toys, gifts and small furniture. Supporting the event were T A Fisher and Tecan employees who are also based in our corporate Theale Headquarter offices. We were extremely proud of the fantastic and generous efforts made by the #HOFfamily. The British Heart Foundation were astonished when more and more bags were delivered, totalling an astounding 40! There were so many bags, they nearly didn’t fit into their pick up truck! The bags were delivered directly to our local British Heart Foundation shop in Reading with all items being used for resale to benefit this great cause. We received a huge thank you from this fantastic charity and we look forward to sharing the total raised from our 40 bags in the near future.

Daily 10 minute office workouts

3) Physical exercise by House of Fisher Employees

The House of Fisher employees engaged in various 10 minute ‘change to your life’ (physical) activities during the day. This helped promote and create awareness of a healthy heart lifestyle, which is key to heart disease prevention. It proved lots of fun and demonstrated that freeing up just 10 minutes per day for light exercise can have fantastic physical and physiological benefits! Some images of group exercise activates can be found on our social media via @stayHOF on Twitter and Facebook.
