On Wednesday 18th December the House of Fisher team enjoyed our Christmas Party at Revolucion de Cuba in central Reading, a new venue for us. We had our own exclusive area upstairs, including a dedicated bar, staff and DJ, all within a wonderful Cuban setting! The venue was festively decorated with Christmas lights on walls and ceiling along with a large Christmas tree and plenty of crackers on the tables!

Upon arrival, attendees were greeted with Cuban tunes and a selection of drinks as the venue started to fill up, ready for the party to begin! The teams were then treated to great Cuban buffet, all very different from our past parties! The food was a huge hit, with reports some team members went back for thirds (seconds were a given!)!

Delicious desserts were served next and the bar became busy as cocktails and the occasional shots started to flow nicely! The DJ and dance floor really started to pick up, as the #HOFfamily danced the night away…a blend of Christmas classics and ‘cheese room’ favourites proved too tempting for attendees to sit through, thus creating a packed dance floor! The customary conga line made an appearance, along with many other classic dance floor moves! The team continued to party the night away until late.

The Christmas Party was a brilliant conclusion to 2019 and way to celebrate a successful year. We refer to the team as the ‘HOFfamily’ and for anyone unsure as to why, the Christmas party demonstrated the reasons…we are extremely lucky to have such a diverse workforce that are hardworking, dedicated and loyal to the company. When together at events such as the Christmas Party, the room is filled with banter, laughter and engaging conversations from a great group of people that genuinely care about each other, hence the team are a ‘family’. The ‘#HOFfamily’ are still holders of the ‘Highly Commended’ ASAP Team of the Year global award 2018, a fine reflection of this and we thank each and every one of them for their efforts.
