Our portfolio of serviced apartments in 13 locations across Reading, Newbury, Bracknell, Maidenhead, Basingstoke, Camberley and Farnborough, offers great transport links via road, being close to the M3 and M4 motorways and fantastic train links to London. Reading
House of Fisher offer three locations of serviced apartments within Reading, including our flagship 100 Kings Road, apart-hotel. We offer studios, one-bed, two-bed and three-bedroom apartments. Full details can be found here.
Open 7 days a week and until 8pm weekdays (Mon-Fri 9.30am – 8pm, Sat 9am – 7pm, Sun 11am – 5pm), the Oracle is a renowned place to shop with people travelling to experience the wide range of shops including a fantastic John Lewis. The Oracle is surrounded by a fine selection of restaurants and bars, catering for all tastes, many of which look directly onto the beautiful River Thames. There are many other activities, including a central VUE cinema.
With a range of sporting activities to get involved in from tennis, football, swimming and exercises classes, you won’t struggle with finding something to do.
Open Tuesday to Saturday (10am – 4pm) with free admission (suggested £5 donation).
On a hot day there is nothing finer than taking a dip in an outdoor pool! The Thames Lido pool is heated throughout the year to a temperature designed to leave you feeling fresh! Fully renovated the Reading Lido offers fine dining and full spa treatments, allowing visitors to enjoy a truly relaxing experience.
Newbury

A fantastic and interesting visit, particularly for fans of Downton Abbey as this is where it was filmed! Tours including castle and Egyptian exhibition entry are available, along with walks amongst its stunning grounds. Make the most of the opportunity and broaden your Carnarvon history knowledge! The summer public opening 2019 is from Sunday 7th July to Tuesday 3rd September (the castle is closed on Fridays and Saturdays of each week).
A stunning racecourse that provides various meets throughout the year and plenty of evening concerts, a day beyond just horse-racing. From concerts to parties to Gin festivals, there are plenty of activities this summer for all of the family at Newbury Racecourse.
Newbury has an array of shops, bars and restaurants to experience. Parkway Shopping Newbury, brings more than 475,000 square feet of modern shopping to a historical environment. Parkway offers an exceptional mix of high street retail and unique boutique stores.
Bracknell

One of the most popular local attractions locally, Legoland is a fantastic visit that encapsulates the imagination of all ages. With constant reinvestment, the park is continually improving and becoming more impressive every year. If you are planning a visit, do explore their website for early booking deals, saving significantly compared to purchasing ‘on the day’.
Core to one of the biggest town centre regenerations in the UK, the Lexicon (launched in 2018) boasts over 70 new shops and restaurants for the entire family to enjoy. It includes a 12 screen 4DX cinema for a totally immersive film experience including seat motion, weather effects, scents, lights and more!
A brilliant range of activities for children including – The science exhibition, play areas, shows (suitable for primary school age children) and Swinley Forest. The grounds have renowned cycle tracks, with colour coded routes for beginners through to advanced riders.
The opportunity to climb high up along courses, finished by a thrilling zip wire back down to the ground!
Open seven days a week, this pastime is popular amongst the entire family. Lane ramps are available, providing great competition amongst adults and children! On site is a range of restaurants and bars, perfect for unwinding following some excellent games of ten pin bowling!

Maidenhead

Surrounded in History, Windsor Castle is a very popular tourist attraction, with visitors flocking from around the world. There are many tours available to witness and truly maximise this Royal experience.
Starting off on land, before driving straight into the River Thames, is a fun experience for all involved! Hop on board the Road, river splash tour which circles the castle and the crown estate.
Brilliant opportunity for children to develop an understanding and love for animals. Also available at the farm are outdoor adventures, indoor play and animal demonstrations, ensuring a fun filled experience.
Basingstoke

Again with this amazing weather, what better way to spend a summer day in Britain than at a Lido! With sunbathing areas, outdoor pools and a range of slides, this is a favourite pastime for the whole family.
Learn to ski or snowboard with a range of starter instruction packages. There are plenty of other activities available, include the fast and fun donutting down the slopes!
With free admission, this is an excellent day out for the family. With a museum and a range of aircraft, it is a brilliant opportunity to learn more about the aviation world both in the past and future.
