Quarantine Apartment House of Fisher

If you are arriving in the UK from overseas, you will need to remain within the place where you’re staying for the first 10 days (known as ‘self-isolating’) even if you have tested negative before arriving into the UK. Should you or any of the members of your household start showing symptoms of COVID, you will have to isolate for 10 days starting from the moment these symptoms appeared. House of Fisher is able to provide a fully furnished, quarantine apartment for those needing to self-isolate safely, with our team at hand to assist all the practical aspects.

Further information is available within our Quarantine Policy and for the most up to date government guidelines on ‘self-isolation’, please click here

We have staff on-site 24hrs a day at our flagship 100 Kings Road Aparthotel covering all our locations, ready and happy to offer assistance when needed. This could be anything from, but not restricted to, taking deliveries for you, arranging groceries, bringing parcels and organising ‘no-touch’ housekeeping.

24/7 Guest Service is available to all guests staying across our Thames Valley aparthotels and serviced apartments, provided by our award-winning team.

What should I do if I or a member of my household displays symptoms?

You should self-isolate for at least 10 days from the date of symptom onset and until you are better and no longer have a high temperature. Symptoms of a cough or changes to your sense of smell or taste can last for several weeks after the infection has gone and so you can stop self-isolating even if you have these symptoms, however you must continue to isolate if fever symptoms persist and seek advice from telephone number 119. The household you are staying with should self-isolate for 10 days from the point that your symptoms start.

You should get a test if you have symptoms of coronavirus.

Fully furnished and fully equipped apartments

Whilst the prospect of self-isolating may not be the most appealing, at House of Fisher we do everything we can to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Our apartments have been designed to provide a complete ‘home from home’ experience that includes a large flat-screen TV with Sky (including Sports), free unlimited WiFi, a welcome pack, fully equipped kitchens, spacious living spaces, washing facilities, large wardrobes and much, much more. Majority of our apartments now have desks.

With 30% more space than a typical hotel room, our House of Fisher apartments give you the space, freedom and flexibility required when self-isolating.

Safe check-in

The safety of our guests and staff is our highest priority. As such we are able to offer a full ‘no-touch’ check-in policy (with the exception of 100 Kings Road). While we have consistently maintained high standards of cleaning in our properties, we have now implemented additional measures in response to Covid-19. Prior to arrival your apartment will have been thoroughly deep cleaned, using enhanced disinfectant chemicals from specialist hospitality suppliers.
