Cake, cake and more cake!
On Thursday 27th September, the House of Fisher team came together again to raise money for Macmillan by baking some very tasty cakes. The event was hosted at our corporate head office in Theale and at 100 Kings Road, being supported by T A Fisher (our parent company), and other Theale Court residents, Tecan, Osirium and Managementors. As always, the event was extremely successful in raising money for such a purposeful cause, with all members of the team leaving the day feeling happy with a stomach full of cake! What more could you want?
There were a range of fantastic cakes to choose from including Cristina’s Spanish childhood memories cookie cake, Sandra’s madeira cake, Trine’s banana and chocolate cupcakes, Edd’s rock cake and chocolate brownies, Helen’s summer fruit meringues, Emma’s vanilla sponge with cream & raspberries, and many more! The team made a huge effort to provide such a great selection, making it a hard decision for the rest of us to choose which one to go for! We are extremely grateful for everyone’s contribution and for making the day so delightful.
House of Fisher were thrilled to donate all the money raised to Macmillan Cancer Support (the total is still going up!). With the 2017 Macmillan Coffee Morning raising an incredible total over £27 million nationally, we hope 2018 can top this! Macmillan Cancer Support are amazing both for the work they do and people they help, so we are thrilled to be apart of and contribute to a cause such as this.
