In these unprecedented times, our main priority during this period of uncertainty is the safety and well-being of our guests, staff and contractors/suppliers. Our senior management team would like to reassure our current and future guests that we are doing everything we can to help, minimise the impact and support everyone. We have already implemented procedures internally to try and protect our guests and staff. Further procedures are planned over the coming days and weeks. We are constantly reviewing our policies, taking direction from the government and leading medical figures to align our offering with their advice.

New booking procedures for your benefit

In light of the everchanging advice and requirements, we have quickly introduced a more flexible approach in terms of booking method and cancellation policy. We want to reassure our guests and anyone considering booking that we will look after you and always have your best interests at the forefront of our decision making.

We have tailor-made our system so that we can manage special bookings in self-isolation or with special requirements, adapting our procedures to cater to the ever-increasing demand.

Stability and contingency plan – You can be confident when booking with us

House of Fisher is built on a fine reputation, established for over 22 years and with our parent company T A Fisher, celebrating its 125 year birthday in 2020. House of Fisher is a privately owned, strong and reliable company with the backing of our parent company. Whilst the impact of Covid-19 is felt throughout the industry, we are structurally prepared for every eventuality (including this) with a solid business contingency plan and have the required resources to continue operations both short and long term.

Highest levels of cleanliness and strong supply chain

As you are no doubt aware, cleanliness and hygiene must now take priority, even more so than usual. We have a strong supply chain and our stock allows us to be fully equipped for the future. This includes sufficient cleaning chemicals, fresh linen and welcome amenities.

Our housekeeping team adhere to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene (on par with hotels) within our hospitality sector, following the rigorous training procedures as part of their induction process.

As standard for any long stay guests, a professional weekly clean is included during their stay from our committed housekeeping team.

Limited Interaction and security whilst staying with House of Fisher

Our serviced apartments and aparthotels have limited public areas, allowing our guests to feel secure and limit their interaction with other guests whilst staying. Having the security and privacy of their own apartment allows our guests to take control of their immediate surroundings and environment.

Our serviced apartments are fully equipped, with up to three bedrooms, a bathroom per bedroom*, full kitchen with cooking facilities and a living area featuring Sky TV. The cooking facilities give you the flexibility to cook in the comfort of your apartment, thus removing the need to go to restaurants (shopping deliveries and take-out deliveries can remove any necessity to leave). Our fully-furnished serviced apartments include washing machines, allowing guests to hygienically wash their own clothes.

House of Fisher guests enjoy hotel-like facilities but with a true ‘home from home’ experience and without the staff interaction hotels require and give unintentionally. Other than our weekly professional cleaning service, guests have no need to see or interact with House of Fisher, unless requested.

24/7 Support from our Guest Services Team

House of Fisher understands that 9 to 5, Monday to Friday support is not an acceptable option for our corporate and leisure guests. We are proud that our amazing Guest Services Team provide 24/7 support, 365 days a year. Whatever time of day or night, this fantastic team will greet and/or speak to our guests in person and are always ready to help. As our support is provided initially over the telephone, we can effectively help out guests whilst limiting our physical interaction with them.

Isolation Units and Key Worker accommodation available

If you are a key worker, NHS staff or need to isolate to protect elderly or vulnerable family members, we can provide short term self-isolation homes at significantly discounted rates. Unlike unregulated alternatives, House of Fisher ensures we meet the high, rigorous standards required to achieve ASAP compliance. Our ASAP Compliance confirms:

  • We have been rigorously assessed to meet the 250 service quality, regulatory and safety criteria
  • We comply with all the key legal, statutory and health & safety requirements

This is supported by our Health & Safety policies, allowing our guests to know they are in safe hands throughout their stay and we are here to support their every requirement.
