With less than 3 weeks to go, House of Fisher are so excited to be celebrating the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, taking place within the Thames Valley where we operate our apart-hotel portfolio!

Venue and Timings of Royal Wedding

The wedding is on Saturday, May 19 at St George’s Chapel in the grounds of Windsor Castle. Windsor Castle has particular significance to Prince Harry, being the grounds where he was christened.

The couple are due to be married at midday and at 1pm they will travel through Windsor in a horse drawn carriage. Anyone wanting to get a glance of the Royal couple on this historic day should certainly plan ahead and get a spot early as vast amounts of people from around the world are expected to visit our region!

Where to stay for the Royal Wedding?

House of Fisher operate a portfolio of 200 Serviced Apartments throughout the Thames Valley area and would be delighted to welcome you as our guests. Our serviced apartments in neighbouring Maidenhead and Bracknell are only a stone throw away from Windsor, perfect for those planning on visiting for this occasion. Another excellent solution is staying in Reading. We offer a vast array of Serviced Apartments across our portfolio of four locations within Reading, including our flagship 100 Kings Road serviced apartments with 24/7 reception and linked gym. Whilst being located slightly further out, this avoids many of the crowds and offers excellent transport links, with a train from Reading to Windsor taking just over 30 minutes!

Let’s celebrate the Royal Wedding!

Whether you plan to attend in person at Windsor, we hope you join us in celebrating this momentous occasion on Saturday 19th May! In the build up be sure to follow the #HOFfamily on social media as we will certainly be celebrating! House of Fisher would like to take this opportunity to wish both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle the most fantastic day (we are all crossing our fingers for the weather!) and much happiness in the future.
