Our kitchens and apartments in general are fully equipped and you will find a range of appliances to make your stay more comfortable. We have put together a few troubleshooting points here in case you need further assistance.

Kettle

1 – Fill kettle with cold water ONLY – do not over fill
2 – Ensure the kettle is plugged in and switched ON
3 – Push ‘ON’ button down on kettle
4 – Kettle will automatically switch off when water is boiled.

Toaster

1 – Ensure the toaster is plugged in and switch is ON
2 – Select desired level of browning by selecting control from 1 to 6.
3 – Place the bread in the slots and depress the bread carriage lever downwards until it locks.
4 – The bread will automatically pop up ready for removal from the toaster once the desired browning level has been completed

Iron

1 – Plug in the iron and switch on at the plug socket
2 – Set the temperature to the requested level
3 – Once the iron has reached the selected temperature the neon light will go out
4 – This light will go on and off during use of the iron in order that the selected heat level is maintained

Cooker

1 – Ensure that the red switch on the wall is ON.
2 – Turn knob clockwise to select method of cooking, e.g. Grill – Fan Oven – Convection cooking
3 – Select temperature 50′ – 250’C for convection & fan oven 1, 2, or 3 for grilling
4 – When cooking complete, turn dial to `O’ position

Electric Hob

1 – Ensure hob is switched on at the wall switch
2 – Select knob for relevant ring. Turn knob to desired heat setting. 1 = lowest, 9 = highest
3 – When cooking complete return knob to `O’ position. Please be careful after use, as the surface may be hot.

Microwave

THE MICROWAVE AUTOMATICALLY COOKS ON FULL POWER UNLESS YOU CHANGE THIS USING THE POWER BUTTON

1 – Set the duration using the rotary knob, turning clockwise
2 – Press the Start button
3 – The display will countdown in seconds and the microwave will indicate when complete
4 – Press Stop to finish cooking at any time

Extractor Hood

Please ensure that the fuse switch on the wall is `ON’

There are three sets of switches on the hood: – The light switch is on the left – The power switch is in the middle – The level of extract strength is on the right

Dishwasher

1 – Open the door by pulling the handle
2 – Place knives, forks and spoons on the cutlery basket & ensure that the spray arms are not restricted in any way
3 – Place 1 dishwasher tablet, which is stored under the sink, in the pocket inside the door – DO NOT USE WASHING MACHINE TABLETS in the dishwasher
4 – Press the ON button (left), select programme by pressing the right button (the chosen programme will have a light glowing next to it), then close the door and the machine will start automatically.
5 – The machine will beep when finished

Washing Machine / Dryer – Washing function

1 – Ensure that the fuse switch on the wall panel is ON
2 – Open the door by pulling the catch outward. Load the washing and close door
3 – Pull out the dispenser drawer until it stops. Pour detergent into the compartment ¡ll’ for the main wash. (Pour into the compartment ¡l’ only if a pre-wash is required). If required, pour fabric conditioner into the compartment marked. Do not exceed the ¡max’ mark on draw. Close drawer
4 – Select the required programme. Turn the programme selector dial clockwise to the selected programme
THE BUTTONS IN ON THE RIGHT CAN BE USED FOR EXTRA ACTIONS
5 – Start the washing programme by pressing the start/play button on the right
6 – The machine will stop automatically
7 – The door is controlled by a safety device which releases automatically 2 minutes after the end of the programme. The door can be opened once the door light switches off
8 – Switch machine off by turning the programme selector back to OFF position

THIS WASHING MACHINE COMES WITH A DELAY TIMER

Washing Machine / Dryer – Dryer function

After your washing has finished, select the ¡Dry’ programme on the machine and press start to begin the cycle or you can pre-program to continue with the drying program after the cycle finished by pressing and holding the Drying time button before you start the washing cycle.

PLEASE NOTE: The washing machine is also the dryer and is one appliance.

Coffee Machine (where available)

1 – Ensure the fuse switch on the wall panel is ON
2 – Fill the back of the machine with water
3 – Choose the coffee pod you want
4 – Match the dots on the coffee pod and select this on the coffee machine
5 – Lift the lid up and insert your coffee pod.
6 – Please hold the level at the back of the machine to the temperature you want (hot or cold) and keep holding this in place until your coffee is ready.
